This holiday period always brings us those update letters on friends and family in the Christmas cards we receive. I use a different approach, which I hope you will enjoy, and allow you to experience what Nada and I experience during our holiday.
This year's Christmas and New Year Holiday will be celebrated in Bogota and Anapoima, Colombia. Those of you that have followed my previous "blogs"will see some familiar family faces, some new friends, and all of us looking a few years older! The years keep accumulating, and despite everything, none of us has found that magic anti-aging formula. It has been an extended period of time since I have maintained a"blog"so please keep that in mind and remember, that I will try to do my best to not bore you.
I will understand if you start to criticize too many pictures of Paco and Lorenza [Correa family Macaws]' Junior and Arthur [Family's talented Jack Russell's], and lots of celebrating [cooking, eating and a drink or two], swimming and dancing! Lorelle and Fernando love to host family, so our Son Nathan and Wife, Jackie will join us from Manhattan to see in the New Year 2015, In addition, Nephew, David Laporta and Wife, Simonie will join us from Southern California. In addition, a very good family friend, Nellie Trattner from Lima, Peru will be joining us for New Years.Our Grandkids, Nicolas[20], David[18] and Suzy[15], Plus other Correa family members. By the time the holidays are over, with all this fun, you will know why Nada and I spend time in this beautiful Latin American Country.
I will try a couple of new features available on the "Blogger site" to make it easier for those of you that are interested, to follow and access. We shall see how dependable and effective the Latin American internet services operate? Some problems are known in advance, I must warn you that "blog"
updates will not be possible from December 27 to January 13 due to not having internet capabilities in Anapoima, where the holidays will be spent. Postings of those events will be when returning to Bogota.
